At Beyond Products, we strongly believe in video marketing. Being more user friendly and consumer oriented than ever before, video marketing is one of the fastest growing forms of content marketing.

Videos are not only remembered more easily than articles, they are also shared more often, and significantly improve websites’ SEO, improving the findability of your brand.

We create visual content for the following purposes:

  • Sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Promoting solutions and best practices
  • Building credibility and trust

Video recording

To create our visual content, we use Riverside.fm, an online recording tool and remote podcasting tool.

This tool will record the interview and create a transcription of the audio recording. The video recording will be used to create short video snippets which will be used:

  • On the client’s website and/or Beyond Products’ website
  • On social media channels (LinkedIn, Youtube)
  • In marketing campaigns

We will never publish the full, unedited recording. Raw video material will be deleted after 60 days. We use Descript and Canva to edit the video material.

The audio transcription will be used to write blog articles. We use Google Docs and StoryChief to write and edit our content.

All material will always be submitted to the interviewee for approval before publication.

By participating in the interview, participants give permission to use the material for the purposes mentioned above. You have the right to withdraw your permission at any time.

If you prefer to conduct the interview without video recording, alternative platforms are Google Meet, Teams, or Zoom. Interviews can also be held by phone, or, of course, in person.

Making your visual content stand out

A video is a great opportunity to showcase your brand, your company, and your expertise. We want to make sure that we create a compelling video, in which you can convey your message well. To do so, here are some things to consider before the interview:

  • Find a quiet space to eliminate distractions or people talking around you
  • If you use headphones, make sure their microphone works well.
  • Make sure to look directly into the camera and ensure it is not positioned too low, pointing upwards. A helpful tip is to place the camera on an elevated surface so that it is at eye level. This creates a more natural and professional appearance during the recording.
  • Create a distraction-free background: place yourself in front of a wall, or make sure you move things out of the way that you do not want to be in the video.
  • Think about summarizing your message in a few sentences, a compelling quote, or a strong CTA (Call To Action).

Ensure adequate lighting, preferably natural light, so that you are well-visible.
